Fairfax - the never-ending quest for clout in Los Angeles
The new animated series produced by Prime Video is titled Fairfax. Below infos the a long trailer.
The new animated series that follows four middle school best friends on their never-ending quest for clout on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles-the pulsing heart of hypebeast culture or Sneaker Culture, which refers to those young people vying to buy the latest designer clothing worn by a celebrity, often queuing in long lines in stores to make sure, at exorbitant prices, exclusive products.

Fairfax offers a satirical voyager on this community, while also capturing the very essence of hype culture - inclusive of the fashion, music, and pop culture that intertwines it all together. The hilarious series pokes fun at hype culture in silly and absurd ways that ultimately showcases the impact among younger generations. Fairfax plays on Gen Z hot topics including cancel culture, social media etiquette, social media activists, clout chasing, and sneaker obsessions.

The series is created by longtime friends Matthew Hausfater, Aaron Buchsbaum and Teddy Riley, produced by them along with Jon Zimelis and Jason U. Nadler for Serious Business, Peter A. Knight (Bojack Horseman) and Chris Prynoski, Ben Kalina and Antonio Cannobio for Titmouse.

Amazon Prime Video has ordered two seasons of 8 episodes each (about 30 min.), the first season of which will be available from October 29.
