The Beastars anime series renewed with a new story arc

Netflix Japan and the Orange studios announce the renewal of the beautiful anime series Beastars with a new arc.
Based on the award-winning manga of the same name by Paru Itagaki, the anime is produced by Orange and Fuji Tv and distributed by Netflix outside the Japanese territory.

The distributor and the studios have jointly announced the renewal for a new arc of the anime series. OrangeOrange will continue to animate the show!

To celebrate the announcement, the author has released a new artworkd:

The first season premiered first in Japanese territory on Fuji TV in October 2019 and then on Netflix internationally in March 2020.
The second season was released in January 2021 at home and on Netflix last July 15th.

The story takes place in a high school, where the students are all anthropomorgous animals literally divided into predators and prey, with personal relationships that maintain the fragile peace. Which of them is a Beastar, an academic and social model destined to become a leader in a naturally distrustful society?
One night at Cherryton Academy, an herbivore student was killed and eaten. Among the members of the drama club, the herbivores' suspicions naturally turn to their carnivore classmates… The prime suspect? Legoshi, a large wolf. But he wouldn't hurt a fly-or would he? And will dwarf rabbit Haru bring out the beast in him? Or are his feelings for her…something else?
