The Faraway Paladin - from light novel to anime

Another Japanese light novel is ready to hit the screens as anime. It's the turn of The Faraway Paladin of which we see the first promo.
Last weekend the first promo of the light novel series Saihate no Paladin (original title) written by Kanata Yanagino and illustrated by Kususaga Rin was released.

Produced by Children's Playground Entertainment, the anime is directed by Yuu Nobuta, with the script supervised by Tatsuya Takahashi and the character design by Koji Haneda.

The main character of the story is a child, the only human of a city long in ruins and far from human civilization, inhabited only by undead beings. The little Will is raised by three of these: a brave skeletal warrior, a graceful mummified priestess and a mischievous ghostly sorcerer. The three pour out their knowledge on the little one but one day this one wonders who he really is and what is his place in the world.
It will be up to him to reveal the mysteries of this land and of the past of the beings who inhabit it, with all the load of love and madness that it brings.

Waiting for October 2021, here is the promo and a visual:
