Zack Snyder and Netflix for a new mythological animated series
Another great director jump on board on Netflix to produce, along with his collaborators, a brand new animated series. Below the first info.
The noted director of Man of Steel, 300, Watchmen and many others film will produces a new animated series, part of the multi-millions Netflix animation production.

There is still little information on production, except that it will be set within the legends of Norse Mythology (northern Europe) and will be an animation series (but the technique used is unknown).

Snider is currently the author and executive producer along with his long-time partner Jay Oliva (Snyder's longtime creative partner on over a dozen live-action films). Oliva also appears as a director of this project. Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller will be the producers with the new label Stone Quarry Animation (founded with Oliva).

Oliva is currently in production on a Netflix original anime series: Trese.

"We are beyond excited to partner with him and his exceptional team to bring the iconic characters and stories of Norse mythology to life in his inimitable style".


The latest brands acquired by Netflix for new animated serial transpositions include titles such as Magic: The Gathering, Pacific Rim, Altered Carbon, Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, Fast and Furious and Transformers: War for Cybertron.
