The original videogame developed for smartphones iOS and Android titled Monster Strike, developed by Mixi, lands in theaters for the second time.
In Japan know as Monsutà Sutoraiku, or simply MonSt, after the 2015 anime with the same name and the first movie (December 2016), now its time for the second one: Monster Strike The Movie: Sora no Kanata (Beyond the Sky).

The story takes place 13 years ago, when suddenly one part of Tokyo broke off and began to float in the sky: "Old Tokyo". Communication and interaction between the two Tokyos was impossible, and years passed. One day, a young girl perceives that Old Tokyo will fall back down to the ground, and she sets out on the perilous path from from Old Tokyo to New Tokyo to save the citizens from the impending crisis. A mysterious blue-haired girl named Sora, a young boy Kanata, the vampire siblings Toya and Yuna, and the monsters Ryōma, Kamui, and Hanzo fight together for the fate of the world.

Director of the movie is Hiroshi Nishikiori, with an original story written by Takayo Ikami and animations produced by Orange. The movie will open in Japan on October 5 distribuited by Warner Bros.
