Wes Anderson, prince of movies artisans, for his latest Isle of Dogs a feature film made with stop-motion animations, it does not use any digital effects.
But in the movie there are anyway many liquids, smoke, fire, explosions and more.

So how are they made? With a lot of patience, but really a lot. And also great professionality.

Yes, because poor materials like cotton wool, plastic, paper etc. have been used to make the movie's special effects.
