A Spider-Man short film as an appetizer to Beyond the Spider-Verse

Sony Pictures will release a brand new short film The Spider Within: a Spider-Verse Story next week, a sop to the long absence of the long-awaited third Spider-Verse film.

The story of the short will show us Miles dealing with the daily challenges of being a superhero. Anxieties, pressures and expectations will make their way into his soul to the point of triggering a panic attack.

An intimate, introspective and unprecedented vision into the life of the young superhero while the second part of his adventures, the long-awaited feature film Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse initially scheduled for this month but then postponed to TBD date (still unannounced) for last year's Hollywood strikes.

The short will be available on the Sony Pictures YouTube channel from March 27.
