The Boonie Bears franchise continues to record revenue in China

A character practically unknown outside the Chinese territories, Bonnie Bear and his friends return with a new feature film which is recording good box office receipts.

The latest film is titled Boonie Bears: Time Twist, a new production from the Fantawild Animation studios released in theaters in China during the weekend of the Chinese New Year celebrations.

A good result with over $60 million collected in the first few days in the Chinese territories alone (third in weekend takings). By comparison, the total gross of all films for the same weekend in the United States was just $40 million.

Bonnie Bears is a very important franchise given that in the last decade it has produced almost $900 million with 10 films. With this new title the franchise will exceed a billion dollars. A very important milestone for a production.

The latest Time Twist will take the woodcutter Vick on an adventure between space and time to save his friends.
