Animusic Weekend: Cool About It

Even on the weekend that brings us close to the Christmas holidays, our Animusic appointment keeps us company, flying to the States today to listen to the song Cool About It by the super-band Boygenius.

Compared to what the name would suggest, the band is made up of three young and talented girls: Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus. Three artists and friends with respective solo careers awarded by critics who, after a joint tour that saw them perform in their individual repertoires, thought of joining forces and composing music in which they were all protagonists.

After two EPs (2018, 2020), their first album "The Record" arrives in 2023 which contains the single Cool About It, with the animated video clip directed by the artist Lauren Tsai >.
