Bucchigiri?! is the new original anime from the Mappa studio

The new anime from the well-known Japanese animation studios Mappa is titled Bucchigiri?! and will be available at the beginning of the year. Info and trailer below.

The "yankee x Arabian Nights" anime centers on Arajin Tomoshibi, who reunites with his previous best friend named Matakara Asamine. Their meeting kicks off a series of battles against strong opponents.

The story is conceived and directed by Hiroko Utsumi (Banana Fish, Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, Free! Eternal Summer, Sk8 the Infinity) together with Taku Kishimoto, supervisor and author of the script. The characters are designed by Takahiro Kagami, also present in the role of animation director together with Hiroyuki Saita and Kiminori Ito. The author of the music is Michiru Oshima and the sound director is Hiromi Kikuta, with the opening song "Sesame" sung by Kroi.

Bucchigiri?! will be available from January 13 on Crunchyroll.
