A CG short film based on the Detective Pikachu spin-off
Our Animeshort column shows us today the new short film starring Detective Pikachu, a spin-off of the famous Pokémon franchise.
The official Pokémon YouTube channel [link] has released the short film titled "Detective Pikachu & the Mystery of the Missing Flan" (Meitantei Pikachu: Kareinaru Morning Routine) made with CG animations by the studios Polygon Pictures.
The short film is linked to the spin-off of the famous yellow character from the Japanese game franchise starring the pocket monsters which inspired video games (in 2016 for Nintendo 3DS and a new one a few weeks ago for Nintendo Switch) and a theatrical film made with mixed techniques, animation and live shooting, in 2019.
