Trailer for the original film anime Komada - A Whisky Family

The new original anime film Komada - A Whiskey Family from studios P.A. Works shows with a new promo just over a month before arriving in Japanese theaters. Find the video below.

Komada - A Whiskey Family, in Japan Komada Joryusho e Yokoso, literally "Welcome to the Komada distillery", is directed by Masayuki Yoshihara (The Eccentric Family), written by Yukito Kizawa and Munemasa Nakamoto (Sword Art Online franchise), with character designs by veteran Tomomi Takada, animation direction by Kousuke Kawazura (The Eccentric Family) and music composed by Tatsuya Kato.

The film centers on Rui Komada, the young head of her ailing family whisky distillery. She took over the distillery after the death of her father. Facing financial difficulty, a divided family, and the aftermath of natural disaster, Rui takes it upon herself to reforge her family's bonds by reviving the family's signature Japanese whisky.

The anime is the fifth of the "workplace" series produced by P.A. studios. Worksand presented last June at Annecy. It is expected in Japanese theaters from November 10.
