First promo video for the anime My Happy Marriage

A new anime hits the market. It is titled My Happy Marriage and the distributor Kadokawa presents the first promo. Video and info below.

The light novel series My Happy Marriage (original Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) is written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka.

Born to a noble family, Miyo is raised by her abusive stepmother and married off to Kiyoka, a soldier so heartless his prior fiancées fled within three days into their engagement. With no home to return to, Miyo slowly starts to open her heart to her cold and pale husband-to-be, despite their rocky introduction... This might just be her chance at finding true love and happiness.

The anime series is directed by Takehiro Kubota at Kinema Citrus (Made in Abyss), with storyboards and supervision by Takao Abo (Macross Frontier), Ami Sato, Takahito Onishi and Momoka Toyoda on scripts, Shoko Yasuda character designer, Yuushi Koshida (Ghost in the Shell Arise) 3D scene director, and Evan Call (Violet Evergarden) to the music.

Expected for July in Japan, a live-action adaptation will also arrive in March.
