Ohtagaki's Make My Day anime on Netflix this February

The streaming service Netflix presents the trailer of the project Make My Day, the anime arriving in a few days. Below promo, info and poster.

The original story of the mangaka Yasuo Ohtagaki (Moonlight Mile, Gundam: Thunderbolt) titled Make My Day is ready to arrive in animation to all subscribers to the well-known streaming service.

Originally announced as a feature film, the project has now become an anime series. The cast includes director Makoto Honda, Yumiko Yoshizawa screenplay, director and mecha design expert Shoji Kawamori who together with Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Flip Flappers, FLCL Progressive, FLCL Alternative) will take care of the mechanical design, Kensuke Ushio to the music and CG animations produced by the Taiwan studios 5 Inc..

The story is set on the snowy, ice-covered planet Coldfoot, home to a precious energy-rich ore called "Sig". On the surface, the planet seems to be a crime-free utopia, but in reality prisoners are used for back-breaking Sig mining. Jim, a young prison guard, rushes to the site of a sudden mining accident to find a mysterious creature attacking the humans.
