Hamster & Gretel - the new series from the author of Phineas and Ferb

The new series directed to younger audience awaited on Disney Channel next month is titled Hamster & Gretel. Check out the first trailer below.

Created by Dan Povenmire (author of the award-winning series Phineas and Ferb), Hamster & Gretel is produced by Disney Television Animation with the story inspired by the relationship of the same author Povenmire with his younger sister (much younger than him).

Brandi Young (Milo Murphy's Law) is the producer, Joanna Hausmann serves as co-producer and story editor (Bill Nye Saves the World) and Dorothea Gerassimova (Mira, Royal Detective) is the art director.

Hamster & Gretel introduces Kevin and his younger sister, Gretel, who are about to be bestowed superpowers by space aliens. But something goes awry, and it's Gretel and her pet hamster (named Hamster) who suddenly have new abilities. Now, protective older brother Kevin must figure out how to work with both Gretel and her pet to protect their city from mysterious dangers.

With a design very similar to the first mentioned series (always starring the brothers), Hamster & Gretel will be broadcast starting from August 12 on Disney Channel.
