The 2023 Doraemon film is Nobita's Sky Utopia

Has been revealed the title and the very first animations of the next movie starring the big blue cat Doraemon. Below all the info.

The official title is Eiga Doraemon: Nobita to Sora no Utopia (Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Sky Utopia), film no. 42 of the franchise that will hit Japanese theaters in March 2023.

The film will be set in a perfect, utopian world in the sky, where everyone lives happily. Adventurers have equated the land with other mythical cities, such as Atlantis. Doraemon and Nobita set out on an adventure to find the utopia with the help of a gadget that is brand-new for the film, the time zeppelin equipped with a time warp function.

The film will be directed by Takumi Doyama (Genbanojo, Doraemon series), with Ryota Kosawa (Always: Sunset on Third Street , Great Pretender) author of the screenplay, in his first experience with a Doraemon film.

Recall that the previous film, the 41st Doraemon: Nobita's Little "Star Wars", only hit theaters last March, a year after its original release due to the pandemic.
