The Croods are back with a new animated series

After the two cinematic films, the caveman families made in DreamWorks Animation are ready to return with a new animated series.

The title of the series is The Croods: Family Tree, a short serial production with CG animations whose first season will consist of six episodes and will be distributed on the digital platforms Hulu and Peacock from next September 23.

So for the first time a series will be broadcast on rival platforms, in fact DreamWorks and Peacock are owned by NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. Disney instead has full control of Hulu after Comcast sold it control of the platform in 2019.

We remind you that in 2015 an animated series but with two-dimensional drawings entitled "Dawn of the Croods" had already been made, aired for four seasons on Netflix.

The story will follow the events of the two films, which have grossed more than $800 million in box office worldwide, with both cave dwelling families starring.
