Star Trek: Lower Decks is ready for season 2 and more

The funny animated series produced by CBS and Paramount and titled Star Trek: Lower Decks comes with a teaser of the second season.

Distributed on the Paramount+ platform in the US and on Amazon Prime in the rest of the world, the animated comic series set in the universe created by Gene Roddenberry it has conquered fans and not only, so much so that it has already been further renewed.

We will therefore still see numerous adventures of the ramshackle team at work in the lower decks of the spaceship U.S.S. Cerritos traveling to the darkest corners of the reverse.

The series is developed by Emmy Award winner Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty) and produced by CBS Eye Animation Productions, the broadcaster's new division American, and set in the year 2380.

Thanks to a group panel broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Paramount+ platform, the authors showed the first previews of the second season and the date on which it will be released: August 12.

But at the same time they also announced that the studios has renewed the series for a third season, always consisting of 10 episodes.
