The Monkey King is reincarnating for a new adventure

The popular Chinese "Monkey King" character, a demon in the service of good, returns with a new feature animated film titled: Journey to the West: Reincarnation of the Demon King.

The protagonist of countless films, both animated and not, but all linked to action cinema and oriental martial arts, returns to Chinese theaters with a new high-level CG production.

The title of the new film, Journey to the West, refers precisely to the classic text of Chinese literature dated 1590, of which the director, Wang Yunfei, says he was as faithful as possible.

Journey to the West: Reincarnation of the Demon King will hit theaters in China on May 1st.
