Production I.G takes us on sail with the anime Fena: Pirate Princess

A new anime was unveiled at the first Adult Swim Con by the team Toonami who announced a new collaboration with Crunchyroll. Below the trailer for Fena: The Pirate Princess.

Fena: Pirate Princess is an original 12-episode anime series directed by Kazuto Nakazawa (B: The Beginning, Kill Bill) with animations produced by Production I.G which will air on Adult Swim's Toonami and stream on Crunchyroll in 2021.

It will tell the story of a young orphan girl, Fena Houtman, who grew up on an island where the British Empire abuses everything. But the young woman is far from impotent and, after having managed to escape from her oppressors, she will put together a crew of misfits and improbable allies to pursue her goals of freedom and adventure.
