The animated film about The Willoughbys is coming next month

The animated film ispired to the book of the same name, The Willoughbys is coming next month. Below the trailer of the funny comedy about the meaning of the family.

Convinced they'd be better off raising themselves, the Willoughby children hatch a sneaky plan to send their selfish parents on vacation. The siblings then embark on their own high-flying adventure to find the true meaning of family.

This is the description of the story written by Lois Lowry, a beloved writer known for being able to talk to young audiences about important topics such as racism, the Holocaust and beyond.

The feature film is produced with computer graphics animations and a very stylized style at the Canadian animation studios Bron Animation, directed by Kris Pearn (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2) and Cory Evans, with the screenplay written by Mark Stanleigh.

Starring Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Alessia Cara, Terry Crews, Martin Short, Jane Krakowski and Ricky Gervais, the movies will be available on Netflix on April 22.
