The Made in Abyss anime has a sequel film

After the anime series and the two summary films, in January we will finally see the new adventures of Riko and Reg in Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul. Below the official trailer.

Made Abyss is a fantasy/adventure manga written and designed by Akihito Tsukushi of which an anime series consisting of 13 episodes was produced in 2017, with two summary films released later.

Now it's finally time to resume the journey together with the main character Riko and Reg and their new friend Nanachi. Together they descend the terrible fifth layer of the Abyss, the Sea of Corpses, and here they will meet the mysterious Bondrewd, a legendary White Whistle whose shadows tangle in Nanachi's past. A world that hides many unknown dangers and not everyone is able to survive.

The film Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul is expected in Japanese theaters on January 17, 2020. There is still no information on international releases.
