Singing clip for Masaaki Yuasa's Ride Your Wave anime

The new anime from the Japanese director and screenwriter Masaaki Yuasa is titled Kimi to, Nami ni Noretara (Ride Your Wave) and, less than a month into theaters, presents a new sweet video.

The new film of the director of Mind Game and the last Lu Over the Wall and Devilman: Crybaby returns with a delicate and dramatic story starring a couple of young lovers who suddenly is divided by a tragedy: the disappearance of the boy, later reappeared immersed in water, an environment he so loved, a state to which the girl will have to get used to.

Produced by Science Saru studios, in Japanese theaters June 21, the script is written by Reiko Yoshida (Lu over the wall, A Silent Voice, Liz and the Blue Bird), the music composed by Michiru Oshima with the band Generations From Exile Tribe performing the theme song "Brand New Story."

In the video we can listen to the unplugged version of the song performed by the voice actors of the main characters Ryota Katayose (Minato) and Rina Kawaei (Hinako):
