Abominable - the next film by DreamWorks Animation and Pearl

We are talking about a new co-production, in particular between the Americans DreamWorks Animation and the Chinese Pearl Studio, whose result will come next winter: Abominable.

A new comedy for all the family on an epic adventure at high altitude, from the streets of Shanghai to the snowy landscapes of the Himalayas.

After coming across a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment building in Shanghai, and having nicknamed him "Everest", the teenager Yi (Chloe Bennet) and her friends Jin (Tenzing Norgay Trainor) and Peng (Albert Tsai), embark on an epic feat in an attempt to reunite the magical creature with his family at the highest point on Earth.

To help Everest return home, the trio of friends will have to stay one step ahead of Burnish (Eddie Izzard), a wealthy man intent on capturing the Yeti, and Dr. Zara (Sarah Paulson), a zoologist.

Directed by Jill Culton (Boog & Elliot) and co-directed by Todd Wilderman (Trolls, The Croods), the film is produced by Suzanne Buirgy (Kung Fu Panda 2, Home). In theaters September 27, 2019.
