Teaser for the original anime Even if the World Will End Tomorrow

Expected to land in Japanese theaters next January, the new anime of the Craftar Studios is presented today with the first teaser trailer, infos and artwork.

The animations studios also been involved with Hayao Miyazaki's "Boro the Caterpillar" short, produce the original movie Ashita Sekai ga Owaru Toshitemo (Even if the World Will End Tomorrow), written and directed by Yùhei Sakuragi and distribuited by Shochiku Media Division.

The film centers on Shin and Kotori, who are both third years in high school. Shin lost his mother when he was little, and since then he has a tendency to close himself off. Kotori is his childhood friend who always looks out for him. One day, another "self" from another Japan appears in front of them.

The first teaser trailer shows computer graphics animations turned in bidimensional animations with an amazing cel-shading filter. The video also let us listen to the song Ra, no Hanashi by singer-songwriter Aimyon, her first time contribution to an anime work.
