The anime adaptation of Spirit Circle will arrive in December

The television anime Spirit Circle, an adaptation of the manga of the same name, arrives next month. Info and trailer below.

The author is Satoshi Mizukami, who serialized the manga Spirit Circle in the Japanese magazine Young King Ours from 2012 to 2016.

The story follows Fuuta Okeya, a middle school student with the ability to see spirits. His life is turned upside down when he meets Kouko Ishigami, a mysterious transfer student who reveals that they are bound by a destiny rooted in their past lives. Determined to uncover the truth, Fuuta embarks on an extraordinary journey through his previous incarnations, traversing time and space to unearth every secret.

The 18-episode television anime is produced by Twin Engine, with writing and direction by Tatsuo Sato - who passed away last May at the age of 61, having completed this final directorial project at the studios NAGOMI and EOTA. Production was finalized under the supervision of assistant director Kentaro Mizuno (Cardfight!! Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!). Satoru Fujimoto served as the character designer.

Set to premiere in Japan and stream globally (likely via Crunchyroll) starting in December, the trailer features the series' ending theme, "No Matter the World," written specifically for the series by Anna Nagase:
