Featurette for Laika's stop-motion feature Wildwood

Expected in theaters in a few weeks, the new feature film from Laika studios is presented with a featurette that takes us behind the scenes of this work.

The film by Laika Entertainment, which began production more than 10 years ago [featurette], is made with stop-motion animation and digital special effects handled by major studios such as Base FX, CraveFX, Industrial Light & Magic, Mist VFX Studio, Moving Picture Company, Virtuos-Sparx and Yannix.

From the creators of Coraline, Wildwood is a sweeping, darkly magical adventure: it's the story of a young girl who enters a dangerous secret forest to save her brother: an odyssey shaped by love, power, and the courage to face the unknown.

Directed by Travis Knight, Wildwood is based on the bestselling novel by Colin Meloy and illustrated by Carson Ellis.

Expected in theaters in North America from October 23, the new featurette shows us the great work behind this interesting production:
