Third promo of the anime Dark Machine - The Animation
The new anime that brings the glorious mecha back to the small screen in less than a month is Dark Machine - The Animation, of which we see a new promo and the premiere date below.
The project behind the Dark Machine game and anime is a 7-versus-7 mecha battle game developed in Unreal Engine 5 scheduled for release in 2024, while the anime will be released worldwide next year on both TV and streaming via Fuji TV.
The year is 2079.
Humankind is living in an energy bubble after Dr. Robert Palmer discovered the Palmer crystal to give humankind all of the energy it would ever need and more. Unfortunately, not all of humankind has benefited from this hyper energy source and underground battles for this energy have developed at a global scale. The factory robots that have been helping to cultivate this energy of the future have been transformed to fighting mechs by these undergrounds and they are fighting for huge stakes.
However, dark energy is said to reside in small quantities in the Palmer crystal. The use of hyper AI technologies was used in an attempt to harness this dark energy and use it for battle advantages. It is currently unclear whether this dark energy can be controlled by mechs...
The project is created by Keiichi Yano, with the anime produced at Production +h studios, directed by Kazumi Terada, with Code Geass director Goro Taniguchi serving as creative producer, and Macross franchise artist Hidetaka Tenjin serving as lead mechanical designer.
Expected on the Fuji TV network from October 13, on Kansai TV from October 15, on BS Fuji from October 20 and streaming on Crunchyroll, here is the new promo:
