Trailer and release date for the anime film Grotesqqque

Just months before its premiere, the original anime film Grotesqqque has revealed a new promo, which we present below.

Presented at the latest Anime Expo [AX], Grotesqqque is an original anime directed by Atsushi Nishigori (The IDOLM@STER), an omnibus of three stories with different worldviews. The titles of the individual segments are "Aeliens", "4649 Girl", and "Nocturne: Kono Grotesque na Yoru ni".

The film comes from JOEN, the company jointly established by Sony media subsidiary Aniplex, its CloverWorks animation studio, Production I.G sister company Wit Studio, and publisher Shueisha. CloverWorks producer Yuichi Fukushima and Wit Studio producer Tetsuya Nakatake are the representative directors of JOEN.

Set for release in Japanese theaters on November 6, the film premiered last year at the Fantasia Int. Film Festival in Montreal.
