Sakamoto Days Season 2 - Release date and character trailer

Expected at the beginning of the year, the new season of the anime Sakamoto Days is shown with a new promo that you can find immediately below.

Taro Sakamoto was the ultimate assassin, feared by villains and admired by hitmen. But one day...he fell in love! Retirement, marriage, fatherhood and then... Sakamoto gained weight! The chubby guy who runs the neighborhood store is actually a former legendary hitman! Can he protect his family from danger? Get ready to experience a new kind of action comedy series!

Based on the hit manga by Yuto Suzuki, the anime is produced by TMS Entertainment, directed by Masaki Watanabe (KADO - The Right Answer, Bartender), written and supervised by Taku Kishimoto (BLUELOCK, Haikyu!!, Moriarty the Patriot), and with character designs by Yo Moriyama (Lupin the IIIrd: Goemon's Blood Spray, Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen's Gravestone).

The first 22 episodes season aired in January 2025, split into two parts. Season 2 episodes will be released on Netflix starting in January 2027.
