Fantasy anime Romelia War Chronicle debuts in October

A new light novel series is being adapted into an anime. It's titled Romelia War Chronicle, and below you'll find all the info and a new promo.

After journeying alongside her fiancé on his quest to defeat the Demon King, Romelia is suddenly deemed useless and sent home, her engagement annulled. While the prince and his group return as celebrated heroes, Rome goes home as a disgrace. But she's not the same girl who left her province. While following the adventurers, Rome was the only one without magic or strength but she found her own abilities in trade, negotiation, finances, and gathering information. And now, she plans to use these skills to not only help her family's province, but help the still struggling kingdom. The Demon King may be defeated, but his allies and demons continue to roam.

This is the interesting story behind Ryo Ariyama's light novel titled Romelia War Chronicle: Even After Defeating the Demon King, Humanity Still Seems Doomed, So I Formed a Military Force (orig. Romelia Senki: Mao o Taoshita Ato mo Jinrui Yabaso Dakara Guntai Soshiki Shita), published from 2019 to 2025 and adapted into a manga from 2022.

The anime is produced by Atra studios, with direction by Hiroshi Shirai (unit director on Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero), composition and script by Aya Satsuki, character designs by Yoshiko Saito and Yuta Otaka, and music by Kohta Yamamoto produced by Pony Canyon.

Two parts of the anime series (two courses) have already been announced and will be available from October on the Crunchyroll platform.
