New trailer and release date for French-Japanese anime We Are Aliens

The anime We Are Aliens is a French-Japanese co-production, expected in Japan at the end of the summer. Below we show you a new promo.

The anime film centers on Tsubasa and Akitarō, two boys who as elementary school students became close friends, but jealousy and misunderstandings eventually drove them apart. Years have passed and the two boys have gone in different directions in life. But when the memories from their past come back, they must face what happened between them years ago.

We Are Aliens (orig. Ware Ware wa Uchūjin) is a co-production by Kohei Kadowaki (writer, director, storyboard, editor) with his young studios Nothing New (Japan) and the French studios Miyu. It brings to the big screen a coming-of-age story centered on two young boys. The two spend irreplaceable time in a small world. However, after a trivial incident, their relationship is torn apart.

Co-produced with a crowdfunding campaign, the film was selected for the "Directors' Fortnight" section of the Cannes Film Festival and will be released in Japanese theaters on September 25 and in French theaters on December 31 under the title Un monde entre nous (A World Between Us).
