The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom anime in January
A hermit's return to life is the basis of the anime The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom, based on the novel of the same name. Info and promo below.
The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom (orig. Yukyu no Gusha Asley no, Kenja no Susume) is the novel by Hifumi serialized from 2015 to 2019 on the website Shosetsuka ni Naro, then illustrated by Kurihito Muto and became a manga by Fuh Araki.
A couple of thousand years of solitude would wear down any young man—anyone except Asley, an eternally youthful and eternally foolish sorcerer who enjoys the company of his best friend, or rather, his canine familiar. When he's compelled to get some fresh air for the first time in two centuries, Asley sets out on a journey to reintegrate into society and test his magical abilities. A whole new world and new adventures await him, but also a great evil to fight.
The anime is being produced by Studio Elle, with Keisuke Onishi directing, Kurasumi Sunayama (Dr. Stone: Science Future, Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World) in charge of the scripts, Yumiko Mizuno responsible for the character designs, and Yuri Habuka composing the music.
Expected on Japanese small screens in January and on Crunchyroll out of the Japan territory, here's a promo:
