From videogame to anime - Sekiro: No Defeat

A new trailer has been released for the anime Sekiro: Shadows Die, an adaptation of the game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Players take on the role of a disgraced and disfigured warrior whose mission is to save his master, a young lord descended from an ancient lineage, and exact revenge on his nemesis, ARCH. Set in the reimagined world of late 1500s Sengoku Japan, a brutal and bloody time of constant life-or-death conflict.
Take revenge. Restore your honor. Kill with wit.

The title of the anime will be Sekiro: No Defeat, based on the action-adventure video game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, produced by FromSoftware and published by Activision, in March 2019 for all consoles and computers which in less than ten days sold over two million copies.

Kenichi Kutsuna is directing the anime at Qzil.la. Takuya Satou is writing the script, Takahiro Kishida is designing the characters, and Shuta Hasunuma is composing the music.

Sekiro: Shadows Die will hit Japanese theaters on September 4 for just three weeks before arriving on the Crunchyroll platform (exclusively outside of Japan, China, Korea and other Asian countries).
