Trailer for the three-part film Batman: Knightfall

One of the most iconic and beloved sagas in the rich history of Batman comics comes to life in animation. Watch the trailer for Batman: Knightfall below.

When the mysterious colossus known only as Bane frees Batman's entire rogues' gallery from Arkham Asylum, the Caped Crusader is pushed to his mental and physical limits.

The story, also cited in Christopher Nolan's stunning trilogy, arrives in animated, again produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, with the first film, Batman: Knightfall Part 1, directed by Jeff Wamester (Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths) and written by Jeremy Adams.

The comic, published between 1993 and 1994, featured contributors such as Alan Grant, Doug Moench, Chuck Dixon, Dennis O'Neil, Peter David, Jo Duffy, Jim Aparo, Graham Nolan, Norm Breyfogle, and Jim Balent.
