Ricky Gervais presents the animated series Alley Cats

The new animated series for adults, the new irreverent comedy from Ricky Gervais is titled Alley Cats and will be available soon on Netflix. Watch the official trailer below.

Alley Cats is an adult animated comedy series from the razor-sharp mind of Ricky Gervais, creator of "The Office" and "Afterlife," and follows a gang of foul-mouthed feral cats who cause havoc while musing on the meaning of life and fighting for survival in a brutal human world.

The series is written and directed by Ricky Gervais and co-directed by Elliot Dear (Love, Death & Robots), and produced by Hugo Donkin. The studios involved are Derek Productions, Shush Creative, and Blink Industries, along with Netflix Animation.

All six episodes of the first season will be available on the streaming platform on August 7.
