Shrek and Donkey ready for a new adventure - The Shrek 5 teaser

Seventeen years after the last chapter, DreamWorks Animation studios bring the protagonists of the classic anti-fairytales back to the big screen. The first teaser trailer below.

In the Summer of 2027, DreamWorks Animation invites you to join a thrilling and magical adventure in one of the world's most beloved animated franchises: Shrek 5.

After grossing $2.9 billion in theaters worldwide with the first four installments, the stories inspired by the book by acclaimed author William Steig mark the return of comic legend Mike Myers, Academy Award nominee Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz as Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona, joined by Zendaya as Felicia, Shrek and Fiona's daughter, and Marcello Hernandez and Skyler Gisondo.

Shrek 5 is directed by veterans Conrad Vernon and Walt Dohrn and co-directed by Brad Ableson. Written by Michael McCullers (Boss Baby franchise) and produced by Gina Shay (Trolls franchise) and Illumination CEO Christopher Meledandri.
