The Star Wars: Visions universe expands with a new anime
The limited series Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi is in the hands of the brilliant studios Production I.G, of which we show you the first images.
The Star Wars: Visions project expands with the "Presents" series, which aims to give greater scope to some stories (short films) from the original series that have piqued interest among fans and beyond.
The first episode of the new limited series Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi, a spin-off of the anthology series Star Wars: Visions, whose three nine-episode volumes were released in 2021, 2023, and 2025, will be screened at the next Anime Expo [AX] on July 2nd.
The new series is produced by Production I.G and Lucasfilm, and the staff includes director Shunsuke Tada, producer Hitoshi Ito (Star Wars: Visions, Attack on Titan: The Final Season), and director and script supervisor Kenji Kamiyama, all of whom were present at the dedicated panel at the Anime Expo [AX] event.
The new miniseries will be released on the Disney+ platform this summer.
