The legendary Pac-Man returns with a free series of short films
A new animated series starring the character from the historic '80s video game is coming in a few weeks. It's titled PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks and you'll find info and a promo below.
The video game created by Toru Iwatani and produced by Namco in 1980 will be celebrated every year on May 22 as PAC-MAN Day in various cities around the world with events, tournaments, and much more.
Bandai Namco Entertainment will release the new series of animated shorts PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks starting from that day, with new episodes every month, distributed on the franchise's YouTube channel.
In the series, PAC-MAN leaves PAC-Village for the frenetic and glittering NEW PAC-CITY, where everyday life transforms into high-speed, snack-filled adventures. With Team Ghost always on his heels, PAC-MAN's boundless optimism becomes his ultimate power-up. Combining action, explosive comedy, and an innovative setting, the new series pays homage to the franchise's iconic history while launching PAC-MAN into a bold new chapter of adventures in NEW PAC-CITY and beyond.
The shorts are produced by New York-based Cartuna, directed by Noah Pardo, and produced by Adam Belfer, James Belfer, Monica Mazel, Garrett Beltis, and Ben Bishop.
