Official trailer for Jim Queen in French theaters this June

The French feature film Jim Queen, presented on our pages a year ago [news], is shown with its first official trailer.

The protagonist of the story is Jim, a sexy icon of the Parisian gay scene who sees his life turned upside down when he contracts heterosis, a strange virus that turns gay men straight! Then he loses his crown and sees the world turn its back on him, except for his most faithful follower: Lucien, a young Twink in the closet. Together they will have to travel the four corners of the capital in search of a mysterious remedy capable of curing Jim but above all of saving the LGBTQIA+ community from extinction.

Animators Marco Nguyen and Nicolas Athané make their directorial debut with an animated feature film, previously known as Jim Queen à la Recherche de la Chloroqueer (Jim Queen and the Quest for Chloroqueer), later shortened to Jim Queen. The film, co-written with Simon Balteaux and Brice Chevillard, was produced at the Parisian studios Bobbypills, specializing in television series and making their feature film debut.

The film was presented at the latest Cartoon Movie, selected for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, and will also be seen in June at Annecy. It is scheduled to arrive in French cinemas on June 17, distributed by The Jokers Film.
