Gints Zilbalodis updates on his new film Limbo

The Oscar-winning writer and director of the feature film Flow updates on social media about his new project titled Limbo.

Latvian author and director Gints Zilbalodis, who a few months ago, along with writers and producers Matiss Kaza, Ron Dyens, and Gregory Zalcman, accepted the Academy Award for "Best Animated Feature Film" for Flow, provides an update on his new project.

The feature film is currently titled Limbo and is being created using the open-source 3D modeling and animation software Blender, just like Zilbalodis's previous projects.

Not much information is available other than that the animated storyboard has been completed and, much more interestingly, it consists of a single shot of 125,842 frames contained in a single Blender file.

It would be a very experimental move to make a feature-length animated film consisting of a single shot.
