First trailer for Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom

The third film of the famous sheep born in the Aardman Animation studios is shown with the first and long trailer, as well as the release date in theaters at home.

On Halloween Eve at Mossy Bottom Farm, excitement turns to dismay when the clumsy Farmer ruins the pumpkin patch. Shaun tries fixing it with science experiments, but things go wrong when a wild beast appears in the woods.

The new film from the British studios Aardman Animations arrives in time for the studio's 50th anniversary.

Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom, the third feature film starring Shaun the Sheep and all the farm's inhabitants, is directed by first-time directors Steve Cox and Matthew Walker, from a screenplay by veterans Mark Burton and Giles Pilbrow.

Produced in conjunction with Sky and StudioCanal, the film continues the studios' half-century tradition of artisanal stop-motion filmmaking.

It is scheduled for release on September 18 in theaters in the UK and on the same day in North America, distributed by GKIDS.
