Dana Terrace's Knights of Guinevere series gets green light

The new project from the author of the animated series The Owl House (Disney) has received the green light after the success of the pilot.

Author Dana Terrace and writers John Bailey Owen (story editor/writer/co-producer of The Owl House) and Zach Marcus (writer of The Owl House and writer/storyboarder of Star vs. the Forces of Evil) together with Australian studios Glitch Productions have put the new independent 2D animated project into production.

Described as "a sci-fi psychological thriller", and the teaser opens on a fairytale scene of a blue-haired princess napping in a forest clearing, surrounded by animal friends... Suddenly, we cut to an alarms-blaring situation in a red lit room, where an android struggles on the bed of a machine and a panicked voice shouts, "S***! She’s waking up!"

The pilot, which you can watch in full version below in case you missed it, has already surpassed 16 million views in just four months, numbers that convinced Glitch Productions to greenlight the series.
