First animations for Demon Agent - the new fantasy CGI from China

The new feature film expected this summer in China is titled Demon Agent. Here are the first details and the promo.

Demon Agent is directed by Cheng Teng (one of the co-directors of Jiang Ziya) and is a historical action fantasy, a very popular style in Chinese animated productions.

The film is potentially set during the Tang Dynasty and features a detective tasked with hunting supernatural creatures.

Produced by Light Chaser Animation (White Snake, Jiang Ziya), it is expected in theaters in July 2026.
