Sakamoto Days - Season 2 announcement video

The anime Sakamoto Days still has a lot to tell and the producers announce the second season of the series with a video that you can find immediately below.

Based on the hit manga by Yuto Suzuki, the anime is produced by TMS Entertainment, directed by Masaki Watanabe (KADO - The Right Answer, Bartender), written and supervised by Taku Kishimoto (BLUELOCK, Haikyu!!, Moriarty the Patriot), and with character designs by Yo Moriyama (Lupin the IIIrd: Goemon's Blood Spray, Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen's Gravestone).

Taro Sakamoto was the ultimate assassin, feared by villains and admired by hitmen. But one day...he fell in love! Retirement, marriage, fatherhood and then... Sakamoto gained weight! The chubby guy who runs the neighborhood store is actually a former legendary hitman! Can he protect his family from danger? Get ready to experience a new kind of action comedy series!

The first season began airing exactly a year ago and concluded after 22 episodes divided into two parts. There are no release dates for the new episodes yet, but you can find the announcement video below:
