Psyren - The Psychic Battle Coming to Anime in 2026

A new manga will be adapted into an anime that will be released in 2026. It is Psyren, a story serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump by Shueisha, of which we show you the trailer below.

Announced by the manga's author, Toshiaki Iwashiro: "It's finally happened. Psyren will be adapted into an anime. I'm overjoyed that I can finally share this news with my parents and family, something I wasn't able to do about 15 years ago."

Serialized in Shueisha's magazine from 2008 to 2010, Psyren tells the story of high school student Ageha Yoshina who finds a mysterious "red phone card" left in a public phone booth. A few days later, his childhood friend and classmate, Sakurako Amamiya, who owned the same card, suddenly disappears without a trace. The boy is convinced that the mythical Secret Society Psyren has something to do with the recent wave of disappearances.

Produced by the Japanese studios Satelight, the series is directed by Katsumi Ono (Symphogear AXZ, Symphogear G, Yu-Gi-Oh!), written and supervised by Shin Yoshida (Naruto Shippuden, Yu-Gi-Oh!) and with the characters designed by Akira Okuma (Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus; Demon Lord).
