Animusic Weekend: Imparare ad Amarsi

Today, our column Animusic honors the histrionic Ornella Vanoni, just hours after the sad news of her passing. Below we listen to the song Imparare ad Amarsi (Learning to love yourself).

One of the most enduring artists in Italian music, an unmistakable voice active since the 1950s, has passed away at the age of 91. She produced over forty albums, numerous live albums, and over fifty compilations.

In 2018, Ornella Vanoni returned to national Sanremo competition together with Bungaro and Pacifico with the song Imparare ad Amarsi, whose music video was designed and animated by Ernesto Anderle and Luca Pischedda.
