Owen Wilson is Charlie the Wonderdog by ICON Pictures

The eternal battle between cats and dogs returns with the feature film Charlie the Wonderdog. A new superhero adventure. Info and trailer below.

ICON Creative Studio and Centurion Pictures are producing the feature film directed by Shea Wageman and written by Wageman, Steve Ball, and Raul Inglis, which centers on a dog who gains superpowers after being abducted by aliens. Together, they battle an evil cat that threatens humanity, while the dog becomes a famous superhero.

The Canadian studios, renowned for their collaborations with Disney (Monsters At Work, Star Wars Young Jedi Adventures), Apple TV (The Search for WondLA), Paramount (Transformers: EarthSpark), and Netflix (Clash of Clans - currently in production), present the family comedy Charlie the Wonderdog, starring Owen Wilson as the main character Charlie.

Expected in Canadian theaters from January 16, 2026, and to follow in numerous other markets that have already purchased the film, here is the trailer:
