Trailer for the second season of Bones anime Gachiakuta

The new anime Gachiakuta, which began airing this summer, has garnered excellent reviews. Below is the trailer for the second part.

In a floating city where the rich discard their waste - and people - Rudo is framed for murder and thrown into the Pit, where a hellscape of mutated garbage beasts dwell. To survive, he must wield a new power and join the rogue Cleaners. Rudo doesn’t just aim to battle monsters, but the corrupt who cast him into Hell.

The Gachiakuta manga has been serialized by author Kei Urana in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2022, while the television anime will begin broadcasting on July 6 in Japan on CBC, TBS and 26 other channels, and in all other territories on Crunchyroll.

The anime is directed by Fumihiko Suganuma (The First Slam Dunk unit director) at the prestigious animation studios Bones, with scripts written by Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man, Vinland Saga, Mob Psycho 100), characters designed by Satoshi Ishino (Date A Live, Captain Earth, Release the Spyce) also in the role of chief animator director and Taku Iwasaki composer of the music.

The second part, or "cour," will begin in a few days, on October 12th, broadcast on Crunchyroll, with one episode per week.
