Trailer for the anime Twisted Wonderland produced by Disney Japan

The anime based on the smartphone video game of the same name, which focuses on villains from the Disney films, will debut this month: Twisted Wonderland. The trailer follows.

Produced by Disney+ Japan, the anime has chief director and script supervisor Takahiro Natori (Aria the Blessing, Tokyo Mew Mew New), director Shin Katagai (The Ossan Newbie Adventurer), script writer Yoichi Kato (Space Brothers, Aikatsu!), and Hanaka Nakano and Akane Sato authors of the character design.

Produced at the studios Yumeta Company and Graphinica, three seasons have already been planned that will adapt the original smartphone game's accompanying manga under the titles Episode of Heartslabyul, Episode of Savanaclaw and Episode of Octavinelle.

Synopsis: stranded in the world of Twisted Wonderland, Yu must brave a magical school filled with ghosts, monsters, and uncooperative students. Yu finds herself at Night Raven College, a school for magic users, where the staff and students are getting ready for the interdormitory Spelldrive tournament. It sounds fun, but Yu soon learns that intensity, intrigue, and fierce competitiveness abound.

The first season of Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation will arrive on Disney+ and Hulu on October 29. Here's the trailer:
